For realtors, insurance agents, lenders, and property managers

Hand your clients the Storm File, with your name on it

A Storm File with your name on the cover gets opened the week a storm is on the map. Your client gets a genuinely useful tool, and you are the person who gave it to them.

Built by a Cape Coral homeowner who worked his own Hurricane Ian claim and kept every receipt. Free to the homeowner, always.

How it works

Three steps, none of them yours to maintain

  1. 1

You get your own link and QR code

Your name, office, and contact details go on the Storm File cover. Send the link by text or email, print the QR code on a card, or hand it over at closing.

  2. 2

Your client builds their Storm File

Room by room, at their own pace, on their own phone. Their answers stay on their device. They can copy, print, or download the whole file whenever they like.

  3. 3

Every spring, a reminder you can send

Optional. Before hurricane season, we write one calm reminder in your name, as a text and as an email: time to update your Storm File. You send it to your own clients from your own address. We never hold your client list.

What your client gets

The file they will wish they had

  • The basics. Insurer, claims line, agent, where the policy is kept. The numbers you need on day one, when the power is out.
  • Room by room. A photo checklist in the order a working photographer shoots, the founder's own trade: wide shots first, then the details that prove value.
  • Belongings. The list people are asked to make from memory after a total loss. They start it now, while it is easy.
  • Papers. Which documents to keep, and where each one lives.
  • Storm diary. Every call, name, date, and promise after a storm, written down while it is fresh.
  • Plain-English guides. Deadlines, the hurricane deductible, how to check a contractor license, insurance words in plain English. In English and Spanish.

Who it is for

Built for four desks: a closing gift, a renewal touch, an owner welcome

Real estate agents and brokers

At closing, the Storm File is the gift that is still in the house years later. For past clients, the spring reminder is a reason to be in touch that is about them, not about you. Office-wide licenses give every agent their own branded version.

Closing gift · past-client touch · office license

Insurance agents

A client with a Storm File knows where the declarations page is, what the hurricane deductible means in dollars, and what to photograph before the season. When the call comes, that client already has the answers in hand.

New-policy welcome · renewal season · agency license

Mortgage lenders and title companies

You were there the day they bought the house. The Storm File keeps your name in it afterward, attached to something useful.

Closing gift · annual touch

Property managers and associations

Every owner in the community gets the same clear instructions before the season, under your name. The aim is fewer panicked calls after the storm and better records when the claims start.

Owner welcome · pre-season mailing
Public adjusters and attorneys: not yet. Florida regulates how claim professionals may reach homeowners. We are getting a Florida insurance attorney's read on those rules before offering the Storm File to adjusters or attorneys. If you are one, tell us and we will let you know when that changes.
Pricing

One flat yearly license

Single agent

Your own branded Storm File, link, and QR code. Share it with as many clients as you like. The spring reminder is included.

Office or agency

Every agent in the office gets their own branded version under one license, with one bill.

Add-ons

A print-ready version for closing folders, or a custom welcome page. The Spanish Storm File, the Archivo de Tormenta, is already included: your link works on both.

Never a fee per client, and never a fee tied to a claim. Founding pricing is open to the first offices in Lee and Collier County: one flat number for the year, sent by email from the form below. No sales call.

Your license is one web link with your office's name in it. Open it and the Storm File shows your name, role, office, phone, and email on the card, at the top of the downloaded summary, and on the printout. Nothing your client types is ever sent to you: the link only adds your name to a tool that stays on their device. The same link works on the Spanish Storm File.

Straight answers for an office

  • We make each link from the details on the form. Adding or removing an agent is one message to us.
  • It works in any phone or computer browser. Nothing to install, nothing to update.
  • When a license ends, the cover note says so, and your client keeps their Storm File untouched.
  • We cannot see what your clients type. Their file never leaves their device.

The Storm File is a record-keeping tool. After the Storm FL does not adjust, negotiate, or advocate insurance claims, for your clients or for anyone else.

Questions offices ask

Before you fill in the form

What does my client get, and does it cost them anything?

A free, step-by-step Storm File with your name, office, and contact details on the cover: insurance basics, a room-by-room photo checklist, a belongings list, a papers checklist, and a storm diary. It saves on their own phone and costs them nothing, ever. Nothing they type is sent to you or to us.

What does a license cost?

One flat number for the year, one price for a single agent and one for an office. Founding pricing is sent by email from the form on this page. Never a fee per client, and never a fee tied to a claim.

Who sends the spring reminder?

You do. Before hurricane season we write one calm reminder in your name, as a text and as an email. You send it to your own clients from your own address. We never hold your client list.

Does my link work on the Spanish Storm File?

Yes. The same link opens the Archivo de Tormenta with your name on the cover. Both versions are included in every license.

Can a public adjuster or an attorney get a branded Storm File?

Not yet. Florida regulates how claim professionals may reach homeowners. We are getting a Florida insurance attorney's read on those rules before offering the Storm File to adjusters or attorneys.

Can a local business sponsor a guide?

Yes. A local business can present one free guide or tool for a season. Sponsors are always labeled, never change what a guide says, and never appear on the Storm File. We do not accept sponsors whose business is insurance claims.
